Safety
No Bathing or swimming.
Permit Holders using club waters do so at their own risk.
 
Bait
No live or dead course fish to be used as bait.
No nuts (in any form) to be used on club waters.
The Excessive use of boilies is strictly prohibited.
The recommended maximum amount for each session being a quantity not exceeding 0.5kg.
Surface fishing is not allowed this restriction is at the request of the lease owner for the safety of other wildlife.
 
Bait Boats are banned
 
Litter
The person fishing a swim MUST ensure that is litter free before commencing fishing and remove all litter when they leave.
No OPEN tins or cans are allowed on the club waters.
 
Equipment
All anglers must have a Landing Net and Unhooking Mat to enable the safe landing / unhooking of fish.
Keepnets must comply with Environment Agency by-laws.
Fish may only be retained in keepnets for a maximum of 6 hours.
No Carp to be retained in keepnets.
Only barbless Hooks to be used, monofilament hook links of a lower breaking strain than the mainline is compulsory.
Braid to be used only as a mainline.
Maximum hook size 6.
 
When Fishing
No angler may fish with more than 2 rods.
Baited rods must not be left unattended.
No night fishing.
Day shelters are permitted but no bivvies
No radios or other music.
No swims to be altered or bank-side vegetation damaged, no raking of swims, cutting or dragging of Lillie’s is allowed.
Permit or day ticket holders, whilst angling at the clubs waters,may bring a dog. The dog must be well behaved and tethered at all times, so not to affect other anglers or members of the public.
 
Please report and incidents of pollution, vandalism, danger etc. to the committee.
